I am wondering if there was anyway to in touch with a NAVCOMM on the ship. You are docking here on the 16th and was hoping to get a tour from you for my family and some friends on Sunday. My dad served for 36yrs and my brother is currently posted to the Fredericton. I have two boys who are very interested in knowing what their grandfather did and uncle does. It would mean a great deal to us as my dad passed away 51/2 yrs ago, he was CPO2 Allen Dunn.

Thank you to all the officers and crew of the HMCS Summerside for the warm reception that was shown to my father Wally during his visit yesterday, September 4, 2011.
My father has always been very proud of his time in the RCN during WWII and spoke fondly of all the ships that he served on. Your presentation of the plaque and crest of the HMCS Summerside was quite an honour for him.
Thank you to all the members of the Canadian Forces for your dedication to duty.

I was hoping that I could get a tour of your ship when she comes by our area here next month.
Thank you,
Jeff.

What a stellar ship! She was docked in the Summerside port PEI, and while she was there, the sailors offered tours, and let me say that was an awesome experience. I learned a lot about ship life onboard a navy vessel, and I also learned more about whats onboard, and how everyone aboard goes about there missions. I would like to thank everybody that works with/for the national deference for keeping this great country safe and such a lovely place to live.

Just a quick note to say thank you for your service to us all. I really do appreciate what you give up to keep us all safe. Your ship means a lot to me as my granddaughter Nicole was christened on your ship, so there will always be a special place in my heart for all of you and your ship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Pamela Beswick
