Ship Departments
The function of the Executive Department is to provide general administrative, medical and regulating services to the ship's company. The Department is headed by the Executive Officer (Commander rank ) and is comprised of three divisions. They are listed below with their associated responsibilities:
Regulating Division - headed by the Coxswain and is responsible for dress and deportment, morale, discipline and duty watches.
Administrative Division - responsible for but not limited to leave, various career-related issues, postings, temporary duty, file management, handling correspondence and releases.
Medical Division - responsible for medical treatment, hygiene and medical administration. We are responsible for the primary healthcare of all personnel on board the ship. We provide a wide range of services, everything from annual medical exams to advanced life support services!
The sickbay has a treatment area, operating room, a four bed ward, lab, and x-ray capabilities. We also have a fully functional Dental Office.
