I had the honour of being aboard your ship with
my 1st Nelson Scouting group on the 18 of July 2011. We had a fantastic voyage, we were treated extremely well by the Captain and his crew. It was
an afternoon that I and my Scouts will remember for years to come. The Oriole and her Crew made us all so proud to be Canadian and they are truely a Canadian treasure. Thank-you from all of us .

On April 20th 2011, the HMCS Oriole's galley caught fire while 14 high school students including myself were on board. The crew handled the situation admirably, thinking for the safety of the students on board while dealing with the fire and keeping the damage to a minimum. I speak for all of the students when I say that it would be an honour to sail with the crew of the HMCS Oriole again.

On behalf of the Rangers and Staff of 4 CRPG who were aboard 20-25 Sept 2010, thank you to the Skipper and Crew for an excellent week of adventure and instruction. It was truly our privelege to sail with such a dedicated group. I hope to sail on the Oriole again soon, fingers crossed for a crew spot in the Swiftsure 2011. Fair winds!

Victoria, BC,
I saw the Oriole today off of Cattle Point. Every time I see her it reminds me when I was a teenager and I got a tour the beautiful ship when she was in Sidney BC. We also saw her in the waters near Nanaimo in August with her sails out. You are all very lucky to have a chance to sail this beautiful ship. Enjoy and know I do when I see her!!!

From what we can see of your web site this looks like a beautiful ship. Our son tells me he loves being on it. Hope to see it around Sept 10th. Until then, fair sailing.

Thank You, Oriole crew for the awesome day at sea on August 16th, 2010 from the Nanaimo Harbour. My 5 friends and I came aboard and had a ton of fun the whole day! It was an awesome experience and the crew was so awesome and funny to be around!
