" This uniform signifies that you have received training and developed discipline that are viewed as deciding assets by all your future employers "

The Naval Reserve as a national institution offers its

members high quality employment and provides Canadians

with our direct participation in the protection of our nation’s

vital interests. Interested? Let me tell you more. If not,

please feel free to browse our site to your heart’s content:

it is our most prestigious business card towards our

clients, i.e. you. Come meet some of the best

ambassadors in existence, the members of the Naval

Reserve of Canada. Welcome home.

Why join the Naval Reserve? Because you could—as thousands of Canadians, including myself—wear with pride a uniform universally recognized as evidence of personal commitment to the betterment of our society and our country. This uniform signifies that you have received training and developed discipline that are viewed as deciding assets by all your future employers. You will make
friends for life and you will get to go to sea, including to the Arctic even, places only the fortunate few can boast to have seen. To join the Naval Reserve is to accept the privilege of working, full-time or part-time, with a prestigious employer and for a very good wage, until such time as you decide to leave us for new horizons.

If you’re already a member of the Naval Reserve, good. What you’re doing is important for your country. Canada is a maritime nation and one of the largest coastal states in the world. Maritime security, both at home and abroad, is vital to the preservation of the Canadian way of life. All of which is within the Navy’s field of responsibility, which is to say, within yours. Take a few minutes to visit your Web site and to live or relive some good times in your community, to learn of what is done elsewhere, to benefit from the information pages it provides. The Naval Reserve is an important part of your group of friends, friends who, like you, see themselves in an environment offering good opportunities, challenges, a good income, and the possibility of pushing back your limits and projecting your values within your community. Should you like to bring comments to our attention, please do not hesitate to contact us.
