From my window, seeing HMCS Edmonton anchored in English Bay, I thought to look up on the internet information about her and then found you. I'm delighted to be able to put a 'personna' onto what I observe, and wish you all well. I have a special interest in the navy: because my father was a CPO 1st class for twenty years (Athabaskan, Cayuga, Crusader, Haida, Cornwallis, Naden), I joined the sea cadets. I loved it. Can't tell you why I didn't join up! best wishes!

Enjoyed you sailing past our home at Atrevida Reef (124.40W 50.55N). Nice to see our security at work. Perhaps you can sail on the East side of the Shearwater Passage so we can wave at you.

Just enjoyed a day sail on board your ship. We thank you for a great ride and your courteous hospitality! This is a great way to support the local Navy League and Sea Cadet movement, and to foster good relations between the Navy and the Community at large.
