Leading Seaman Brett Spelliscy

Leading Seaman Brett Spelliscy hails from Edmonton, Alberta. He joined the Naval Reserve in 2001, and has been in Esquimalt for four years. Brett comes from a distinguished military lineage; he had three great-uncles in the RCAF during World War II, and one great-uncle in the USAAF, who held the rank of Major and was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross for action over Southern Germany. Brett plays hockey at Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt, likes movies, candle-lit dinners and long walks on the beach. Brett's duties include standing as Petty Officer of the Watch while the ship is at sea, and as Magazine Yeoman (responsible for the care and accounting of the ship's ammunition).
