Edmonton is my old but still beloved hometown, so it is a real pleasure to see her name on your ship. I have had 3 members of my direct family serve in the Canadian Armed Forces and it is with pride and interest that I read about the accomplishments, equipment and the great men and women that wear the uniform. Having family who are in the military I honour and appreciate all that our Canadian Forces do in protecting us and in global peacekeeping efforts. As a friend from many years ago of LCdr Patrick Montgomery, I wanted to look up the HMCS Edmonton and proudly share his accomplishments with my friends and family. I am dissappointed to see that the page has not yet been updated. I hope to see an update soon and once again thank DND for its invaluable efforts!
