While patrolling off the coast of Somalia in the Gulf of Aden, HMCS CHARLOTTETOWN came across stranded Somali fisherman who ran out of fuel, water and food. After rendering them assistance with there needed commodities, the fisherman were on their way.

An Aurora Maritime Patrol Aircraft flies overhead as part of Operation Lancaster, as sailors, infantry, and Canadian Rangers help the RCMP restore a gravesite in Dundas Harbour, Devon Island. The gravesite is for two RCMP members who died in the 1920's while working in an Observation Post here, on the northern coast of Lancaster Sound.
