Diana Kingsmill Flynn, the granddaughter of Admiral Sir Charles Kingsmill, and Vice-Admiral Dean McFadden, Chief of the Maritime Staff, unveiled a plaque commemorating Admiral Sir Charles Kingsmill.

On May 15th at 1:30p.m., Dr. Thomas H.B. Symons, Chairman of the Ontario Heritage Trust and Vice-Admiral Dean McFadden, Chief of the Maritime Staff, unveiled a plaque commemorating Admiral Sir Charles Kingsmill in a ceremony at the Emmanuel Anglican Cemetery in Portland, Ontario.

The Ontario Heritage Trust is an agency of the Government of Ontario, dedicated to identifying, preserving, protecting and promoting Ontario’s heritage. The Ontario Heritage Trust’s Provincial Plaque Program commemorates significant people, places and events in Ontario’s history.
