Naval Reserve (NAVRES) - December 17, 2009
On December 17, 2009 in the cold of winter in the minutes preceding the Crews’ Christmas Dinner, members of Naval Reserve Headquarters, Canadian Forces Fleet School (Québec) and Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship Montcalm proudly raised their Commemorative Canadian Naval Centennial Flag. On behalf of each unit, the coxswain representing the Navy’s Past and Present and the most junior sailor (Future) raised their Unit’s Centennial commemorative flag. Capt(N) R.H. Jean, the Naval Reserve’s Deputy Commander was leading the ceremony on behalf of the twenty-four Naval Reserve Divisions spread all across Canada.
