A few years have passed since.H.M.C.S.Brandon and Crew took my husband{CPO-R.J.Sherring} to Hawaii for his burial at sea{1904).I just want to thank you all.I realise the Ship's Company and Captain have change.but the pictures and kind words are still in my computer for us all to cherish. Thanks again

Hello, We think that this site is wonderful.It allows us to see where and what our grand-dauther is doing, We are very proud of her.We are both very interested in the navy as my husband was in the Sea-cadits and i was in the Wrenetts when we were teenagers.we would to see more pictures. Good afternoon ALL HCMS BRANDON, I started writing USS TRUXTUN (CGN-35) named for my 4th Great Grandfather, Commodore Thomas Truxtun from day of commission 27 May 1967..... "Thank you for everything you are doing out there for all of us here at home as I recall my days as a D.E. Sailor 1955-1962 how much mail from home is cherished!"
